An LJ friend tells me that Blingo! is for real, and that she’s won.

Blingo is a search engine that uses Google to deliver search results - nothing unusual there. The cool part is that as you keep searching using Blingo, you may win some stuff, like ipods, psps, movie tickets (or money in the form of VISA gift cards). She tells me she actually won. Also, if your “Friends” (people you refer to blingo) win, you win with them, too.

I figure I have nothing to lose, since I already use google, and blingo delivers google search results. I installed their Firefox quick-search thingy, which I use, and now am all set.

Please sign up and log in, and let’s give this thing a ride, I say. I usually don’t pimp such websites/rackets but this one is harmless, and since it’s just started, it might be worthwhile to try my luck.
