I am at the library at Georgia Tech. She is attending the orientation. A good time to update the journal and let the friends know.

I visited Rochester, NY, Philadelphia, New Brunswick, NJ , New York City, Niagara Falls and Toronto over the last few days. Me and three friends, that is. Sumanth joined us for a part of the trip. Nice to see him after so long.

I met Oolan after a long long time, and he hasn’t changed much. His house is still a treasure trove, and I am pleased to say that I was reading a collection of “The Onion” frontpages while I was on the pot.(the pot, not POT). The only thing I missed on the trip was sleep, but that expendable, so no problems.

Toronto is the best. Canada is heaven. I will live in Canada someday, and thats a promise. we walked up and down lakeshore boulevard, and I was so happy to see so many people on bicycles and so many skaters. Just watching them exercise made me feel good.

I haven’t laughed and smiled as much as I did over the last few days in ages. The batteries are fully recharged. We had two good cameras and a lot of nice pics came forth. I shall put them up in due course of time. Just lazy.

Toronto had me drooling. The falls at Niagara are beautiful, especially in the evening , when there is a 270 degree rainbow framing the Canadian falls. I got myself a “CANADA” cap, which I will wear till I start living in Canada - No Kidding. Everyone was kind to me, and the whole place seems a lot friendlier. Maybe its all in the mind.

More later. She is done with the orientation and I need to meet her now.
