Announcing a new style for my livejournal
I decided the old black journal was getting a bit too boring and, you know, depressing, and so I rigged up this new style, bamboo. I have used absolutely no colors in this style, if black, white and grey are’nt colors according to you. This page is done entirely using CSS. There are some table tags in the elements sent to the browser by the Livejournal server, but I cant help that really.

So folks, please tell me what you think. Do you like the new style better than the old black journal?

In other news, I got my learner’s driving licence today. There was a really mean lady at the office. She hates foreigners(this is what her co-worker told me). She told this guy who knew no english, only spanish, that she cannot give him a licence because he cant speak english. Immediately, another gentleman who was at the office with his son stepped forward and argued with her, saying one does’nt need to know english to drive a car. Then he acted as an interpretor. The lady was so stiff! Later, after I had taken the computerized test, I went back to the counter from where I was sent for the test, and I found the same lady there, instead of the clerk who had sent me for the test. The rude lady told me that she cant issue a learner’s licence to me because my test showed “incomplete”! I told her that I had seen with my very own eyes that I had passed the test. She was like, “I am sorry, I can only do what the computer tells me”. I asked to see the computer monitor which was on the other side, or to get an explanation as to what “incomplete” means. She huffed, puffed, glared at me, and then just rose and left angrily. The other clerk came back, and said “Don’t worry darling, of course you passed the test!” and issued me a licence.

I already wrote to the Florida Dept. of Motor Vehicles.
