I am the teaching assistant for a course, Computer Systems Design - 1. The course is taught by Dr.Jubara. There is this story in Orlando Sentinel throws mud at him for no good reason. There is nothing in the article that says he could even have anything against him that could possibly mean he has done something illegal. Why did they run this story then, just to raise eyebrows, and defame him? Just so that people could come and ask me “Did you know that Dr.X has links with terrorists? People seldom read the whole story , all they are interested in is the headlines, and even the headlines get corrupted in their journey from mouth to mouth. It pains me to see this utterly thoughtless act of some odd journalist(s) affect someone I know. Who knows, they might say next that i am suspected of having links with a person who is supsected of having links with a person who is suspected of having links with people who are suspected of aiding jihadis. After all, I am his teaching assistant. LOUSY.
