who has a safety net? who can go back , abandoning what they are doing now ? was chatting with sankar. he says nobody ever has peace of mind. seems true
on a lighter vein telnet to telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl for a neat piece of work, thanks are due to sankar , again.
i dont want to write names of people i know on my livejournal. i dont want to write my name here either. i dont know what the internet will end up being, and more importantly who all will read this. this self imposed restriction is a pain. a lot of my friends, (and my SO) dont have lj accounts, so friends only posts wont work either.
today i noticed that yahoo has removed the “sign in as a different user” link from the page i get when i log out of yahoo mail. i always used to wonder what that was for, since that link and the “sign out completely” link both lead to a page where you have the “return to yahoo mail” link. also, yahoo has removed the funtionality to add new members in the groups, i now have to send out invites and the person has to subscribe by replying to the invite(this was there earlier too, but now this is the ONLY way, i cant add members without their permission in the form of reply).
